Joe Wenborne is the author of four feature screenplays, three television series, eight-stage plays and three novels. He has worked as a producer and director on both stage and screen and recently won numerous awards for his film 'Touching the blue', including Best Short Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay year at the 2021 Global Film festival in Los Angeles.
He produced two award-winning documentaries, 'Dino Mummy' and 'Quest for Dragons, in a co-production with Channel 4 and WEATA and National Geographic.
Joe performs and writes his original observational stand-up comedy show, which he tours internationally.

Joe Wenborne's feature film, Touching The Blue, tells the story of previous World Champion snooker player, Derek Hodges, as he makes a comeback at the Crucible 20 years on, still struggling with ghosts from the past. To date, 'Touching the Blue' has won seven awards, eleven Official Selections, one nomination, reached final rounds in five separate competitions,  and received one honourable mention.
